The world said "Never again"Russia said "We can repeat"

Year Created: 2023 Medium: Fabric, paper, acrylic paint Size: 3 x 5 x 5.3 ft After WWII ended the entire world stated "Never again" regarding military conflict of such scale to which Russia replied "We can repeat" and started the largest military conflict after WWII in Europe, the Russo-Ukrainian war. This is a performance piece that I did on the 8th of May as a way to bring awareness about WWII and the atrocities that Russia is committing right now in Ukraine. I did this by painting red poppies, a symbol of remembrance and more specifically the bloodshed of WWII, on myself in a public space.
